    A detail-oriented, self-motivated, well-organized, and results-driven professional with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and goals.  This individual will be expected to produce detailed analytical work, demonstrate expertise in contract management, and act as liaison between Credit, Commercial, Scheduling, Accounting, and external customers through their role assisting with the daily and long-term trade validation process.

    Responsibilities:
    • Gain a comprehensive understanding of all Commercial agreements to become familiar with rights and obligations of all parties.
    • Provide effective guidance and support by leveraging solid understanding of natural gas contact terms, conditions and terminology, as well as understanding North American natural gas marketing business.
    • Confirm executed deals including statement generation, matching terms, issuing confirmation, addressing any discrepancies.
    • Analyze deal confirmation terms for consistency with approved language.
    • Review counterparty confirmations against commercial contracts and resolve issues related to discrepancies in a timely manner.
    • Maintain master database of all company contracts including electronic and hard copy originals.
    • Maintain and track status of contract documents and ensure contracts are reviewed and approved internally and externally.
    • Draft and maintain contract summaries of key terms along with tracking of expirations, required notices, etc.
    • Provide customer service by responding to customer inquiries timely and address any raised issues.
    • Assist in contract negotiations by drafting language, preparing documents, routing for signatures.
    • Assist the Commercial team in navigating internal limits and approval processes.
    • Counterparty set-up / maintenance and commodity deal entry and reconciliation in internal database.
    • Assist with Audit and SOX testing and review processes.
    • Complete special projects as needed.
    Qualifications:
    • Energy industry background required.
    • Working knowledge of North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB) standards preferred.
    • Experience with trading or risk management processes.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and engage with others to focus on continuous improvement.
    • Able to work independently on a variety of simultaneous projects.
    • Candidate must have good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to adjust work schedule to meet business needs.
