Methane in Pennsylvania Water Wells Unrelated to Marcellus Shale Fracturing
-- Published in the December 5, 2011 issue of Oil & Gas Journal. The findings indicate that the presence of methane in groundwater in the Susquehanna County area is both a naturally occurring and wide spread phenomena that correlates with the region's geological formations rather than the presence of gas drilling activity.
